A hospitality concept of charm and relaxation
Nature is the absolute protagonist of this audacious renovation that has transformed the simple mountain house of the 1970s into a place to live, enriched with natural materials and characterised by large spaces that, from the inside, extend outwards; the sensation, as soon as you enter, is of living in a constant dialogue between the historic structure and the surrounding woods.
THE PROJECT
At 1,800 square metres, the spa, designed by us at SANAE, occupies the entire ground floor, with a succession of communal areas that encourage interaction: the gym overlooking the pool, the safe and soundproof baby pool, the family sauna with a gentler temperature (40° and 10% relative humidity) and also suitable for the little ones, the Turkish bath and the bio sauna. In addition, there is a sauna for aufguss rituals enhanced by video projections.
A series of wooden alcoves and soft upholstery also offer unexpected relaxation under the branches of the large tree of life: a central element to the spa that, like a watershed, divides the more lively and convivial environments from those where absolute silence reigns, to be experienced by reservation; such as the private sauna overlooking the garden. This functional interpretation of the spaces, reasoned to meet the needs of a different clientele, is very evident when looking at the distribution layout.
